Cage Cleaning

I was just wondering how often an entire cage cleaning was necessary if at all. I clean up his waste and change his water regularly, but was just curious about renewing his substrate?

I clean any soiled substrate up whenever I can see it, and do a complete change and disinfectant (reptile suitable of course) once a month.

There are specific cage/tank wipe out cleaners, I personally use Zoo med's wipe out # 1. I really like it!!
Good Luck

You can also rinse the tank with a 1-10 parts bleach/water mix, then rinse it many times to make sure the bleach is gone.

You can also use bleach in water. It just takes a little bleach and make sure you wash the cage really well afterward but it works well!
