Cage size?

I want to have 3 or four pairs of corns. What size of caging do breeders use? I believe you use shoe boxes for babies. Then what? My room is limited so must use space correctly but i do not want to make things to small.

Thanks
Richard

I use something like rubbermaid. They're from reptile tubs, and have a locking lid and are plastic. I did put clips on the edges and corners since the youngsters like to camp up inside the lid edge. I was afraid of escapes :) I've attached a picture of mine.

if space is limited then you could try stacking cages or a rack system. Visionariums seem like good stacking vivs and can house an adult corn in one. Vision cages are also nice. If you want tanks then a 20 gallon long tank can hold a corn for its whole life but you may want to go with a bigger cage.

Technically a 20gL should house it its whole life, but personally you might want to go with a 30 if you have room. It gives you more of a chance to make it more attractive. But a 20gL should be fin, but i'm not sure what to do other than the rubber maid containers someone brought up earlier to save space and money.

MegF where did you get them? and about what was the cost and size of them??
www.reptiletubs.com I paid about $50 for three 30 gl. tubs with lids, and $36 for shipping because it was the farthest area from them. I drilled holes in them for air, and put clips on them that I got from Staples to make sure I'd have no escapees :)
