ok so i got this viv from a local pet store at a good price it was on sale lol. And i wanna make sure im not gonna have ne problems with escaped snakes. I wont b able to handle an escapee,but i wanna know what u all think of the lid and how secure this looks here's the link....http://www.all-glass.com/products/cages/index.html it shows the lid havin 2 screen catches in the back and then i think there might be 4 in the front of it, its a sliding screen. oh I love the sliding screen-top tanks. if i had found one in a 55-gal I would have done one of those. Instead I built a custom tank top. Just keep an eye on your snake and make sure the locks keep the lid in place if he pushes sideways. otherwise, that should work just fine 
lol i hope they work. when i got the tank home i figured id better see how it worked lmao. Boy did i have a time figuring out how to unlock those lil latches lol. it took me a few mins but i got it lol.I hope since i cant get in it nothing can get out of it lol. I got the hang of it. lol thanks for ur replies.
