Well, whenever you can find a local show and stock up as much as possible...I managed to buy 2 5 kilogram bags for under £10 (can't remember exactly) at the last (and first) one I went to. Other than that, ordering off the net will be cheaper than the local shops.

i haven't got much access to reptile shows, as my dad would not be willing to take me, and there none around here, so a bus is out of the question, i know a good reptile supplier on the net but they dont mension postage. . the only thing they mention about postage is that orders over £65 post free, encase you were wonderind that supplier is www.everythingforpets.com , then click on reptiles for reptile stuff, or click for any other pets you have!!

http://www.livefoods.co.uk/ will sell you a 13.6 Kilo (100 litres) bale of aspen for £28.20 + £9.40 postage. If you want something smaller, the next size down is 20 litres, which will cost £5.88 + £6.58 postage (obviously best to go for the larger size if you can store it).

http://www.cornishcrispa.co.uk/ sells 13.6 kilos for £20.00 + £10.52 postage. The only other size they do is 1 kilo, which is £3.50 + £7.70 postage.

I've used both and they're great.
