knockoff

New member
Hi guys, just bought some can-o-crickets from zoo med from a pet shop.
No real instructions on can, so does any 1 know how much 2 give a 2 year snow corn, what the best method to feed is i.e-what do u put them on, how long to leave them in viv,& how long they keep 4 once opened.
Cheers guys,
Nigel:wavey:

I'm fairly certain that you do not feed crickets to corns. If I recall correctly, corn snakes cannot digest the exoskeletons of the crickets and impaction would likely happen. I've also read, regarding the "Can-o-Crickets", that they can become contaminated with bacteria and can be deadly if given to your reptile.

Hey, don't waste them!!

Toast up some wheat bread, spread on mayo and add crickets, sharp cheese and lettuce.

Bang!!

You got yourself lunch.

Just thought we would try them because we read some where in a corn snake book that the live ones were very nutritional for them so when we saw them & it said for reptiles & snakes on the side we thought we should try them.
But now thanks to u guys we will b having them on toast:laugh::laugh:
