Hi I bought this girl a little while ago and I am not sure what she really is... I was told that she is an Albino Texas Rat Snake but i'm kinda having my doubts about that...what do you think?
It's hard to tell, and I'm no expert on Texas rat snakes, but I ran a search for comparison photos and didn't come up with an "albino" Texas rat snake. I found leucistic Texas rat snakes, and they are basically solid white with no pattern. That might be an albino BLACK rat snake, but can't be sure. Better photos would help a great deal.
IS the snake gray as it looks in the pics? If it was an albino it wouldn't be gray. It would be more of and orange or yellow color. That is a wicked head pattern though, looks like some weird head with a mohawk
Sorry about the picture quility...she doesn't have any gray on her at all. Basically she is orange, white, and yellow. About 1/3 down her belly her pattern goes from solid white to checkered white and clear to almost completely clear (pink).
