What kind of Latin do you Californian's speak anyway? The Roman alphabet never had the letter K at all. =P
To me, carmel corns look like a honey color. The Latin word for honey is, Mel.
Yellow in Latin is: Cerinus, or you can feminize it to Cerina.
Gold-colored in Latin is: Aureus or Chrysizon.
Or there is Ocher, it comes in yellow or red varieties depending on the metallic mineral present.
I like Carmelo, or Rolo is good too. Or why not go for the best, Turtle. Those Caramel Turtles are the best. >=)
