Changing Temps

Phoeb

Captain Awesome
Hi all.

Just wondering if this will affect my corn in anyway, my thermostat turns on and off quite frequently with the temps changing from 79F to 83F every half hour or so. Is this ok or should I buy a heat mat?

Shes about 5 months old and I have had her almost 2 weeks. shes eaten 3 fuzzies since I have had her and only comes out of her hide when I take her out to feed.

I would say no, absolutely no. Even if the air temp is "correct" there needs to be some type of direct heat source for the snake to absorb. An undertank heater would be great, just make sure you regulate it with a rheostat. I made two of them today, cost me about 6 dollars to make one.
