Charcoal

I am sorry if this is the wrong section.

Does anyone know whether it is common for a charcoal to have no head pattern? While I had Charlie out the other day I noticed he had no head pattern, is this common?

I havent heard of that before. Ive seen some pictures with charcoal's whose head pattern fades out toward the nose, and it sort of turns gray, but there was still half a head pattern toward the back of the head.

My charcoal doesn't have a head pattern. This pic is from back in April but he still looks the same today.

My Pewter doesn't have a head pattern, my anery mot has only a faint one and my Granite doesn't have one.... so not as unusual as one would think :)
