Cheap snake cages?(not tubs)

I was going to buy some real cages for my corns until I saw the prices(animal plastics and boaphile). Im curious why a 36 inch cage is more expensive then the standard 48 inch cages?
I have two AP t8s but wanted smaller cages to stack on top.Any other manufacturers that make smaller snake cages that run under 200 each?
