We just had a couple of tornadoes touch down and this is what I grabbed out of my yard! (I went outside after the warning!)

Oooooh! More storms are headed my way!!!!! So much fun! I know, I'm crazy!! Also, apparently there was some softball size hail south of where I live! I am actually glad that size didn't hit me! My poor car!

I always enjoyed the thunder/lightning/hail storms we got in Colorado. I must be crazy too be cause I miss them out here in WA.

Yeah, all your storms came my way!

The local stations interrupted programming for about 2 hours while the first storm came through. There were several tornadoes spotted. It just missed me by a few miles to the north. Glad there was no hail here (my car sits outside), but there was 3 inch hail all around the area. It looks like there could be more nasty stuff headed this way by morning.

yeah, we haven't gotten the next round of storms yet. I'm excited though!! I think they are getting ready to hit! My lights keep flickering!

Oh and Zach!! These are REALLY bad storms! Take them seriously! We had like 12 tornado warnings at once. Like the whole viewing area of our weather channel was under a tornado warning!

Yeah, that's pretty much what was going on here to slightly smaller extent. It looks like we've got a lot more headed this way, which makes the decision to go to bed more difficult. I tend to get a bit paranoid with storms like these. I guess it's the past close calls I've had with tornadoes and lightning that make me that way.

Speaking of which, my mom called me late last night. Lightning hit our house again. The fire department had to be called. The electrician said it was probably 5-10 minutes longer and the house probably would have caught fire. He also said that, judging from how badly the phone box on the side of the house was blown apart, anyone talking on the phone when it happened would likely have been done for. The list of other damage is fills an entire piece of paper! Makes me sort of glad I was an hour and a half away on campus.

I SAW A FUNNEL CLOUD!!!!!! It was above my house and the weather channel confirmed it! And an actual tornado touched down about 3 miles north of my house! I love this weather!!! I think the bad weather has gone though! Like I said Zach......................be careful in this weather, this coming from someone who doesn't live too terribly far from you. We have had tornado warnings since 9:00pm. It has been continuous ALL night!

I live in Imperial Beach, CA and we had some wild weather this weekend too! We were under flash flood warnings almost all weekend and our garage flooded. There was also a tornado in Encinitas...

We also got some nasty storms this morning, last night and right now. Yesterday we had a flood warning. I love storms

I'm in the San Gabriel Valley (L.A. County) so we only get hot and cold. Nothing too severe.
