Checking on my snake...

I just had a quick question.. Wondering if I should be checking on my snake every day? Am I disrupting her??

How long have you had your snake..if it is within the first 5 days..your best not to disrupt the snake to much...a quick check to make you feel better that she is still alive is ok, but no handling....after she has settled in and fed ok for you.. checking on them daily is fine even handling every day or so is ok.

:-offtopic I see you are from Canada as well, may I ask where?

I've had my snake for about 2 months. She eats well, had an excellent shed, well tempered. I dón't think I could ask for a better snake. I was just wondering how often I should be checking her out. She pokes her head out now and then and checks things out.

Hi,

after a proper acclimatization time, you'll have to try it out. There are snakes that get used to be handled on a daily bases. But there are also individuals that never adapt to being handled and can be pretty stressed by it, even become aggressive.

I hope this helps.
Greetings,
marike

Well she's really calm all the time.. When I take her out she just sits on my hand and looks around a bit. She likes checking out my face and hair haha.. But she's never in a hurry to get anywhere and she's really awesome with my little brother.

She sounds like my snow, slow, relaxed, always exploring my face and hair!!! Sounds like yours may be fine with daily interaction.
