chicks over mice

corn on the cob

New member
My brother and his mate have just started to feed their corns day old chicks instead of mice. His corn was a very stuborn feeder but now readily pounces on the chicks. They are also a lot cheaper than mice.Does anyone else feed chicks and have they any detromental? affect to the snake.I would like to know a bit more before I tried them on mine.
Cheers Mick

I feed day old chicks to my adult male who is also a fussy eater and takes a chick every 10-14 days no problems. Another person off this forum also feeds chicks and has been doing for some time and her snake is lovley and healthy.

If your snake is on and off with mice give chick a try as they are near enough as neutritious as mice.
