hey everyone im just sitting here because i cant sleep and i started downloading a few songs from my child hood like puff the magic dragon thats one of my old favourites song and movie. and another is morning town ride my mom used to sing to me when i was like 3 or 4. what songs do you have from your childhood

I can remember having the records Puff the Magic Dragon, Pony Boy, Red River Valley.

My child hood songs are like Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart, all 60's 70's and 80's and 90's and NOW lol....there my child hood songs!!!!!
 
Never payed attention to the artists, but when my mother forced me to listen to her read my baby book, one comment was that when I was able to walk, I would dance to ZZ top.

Strange, I know.
 
lol yah with the zz top i was like that with metallica i used to headbang with my dad too it when i was about 3 we cranked it when my mom was at work and went nuts

Ha ha! Me too! My dad was a big Beatles fan!

"I am the Walrus" & "Magical Mystery Tour" really stick out in my mind. My dad used to play Beatles records for me and my brother when we were kids.

I did also have children's songs though too. I've still got some of the 45's I had when I was a kid, my mom recently gave them to me along with the record player I had when I was little. I will be passing them along to my son and future child #2. I really wish I knew where the 33rpm record full of kids songs was, I remember that particular record being my favorite with songs like, "Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Bear".
 
My dad had a big collection of 45's from the 50's and 60's that us kids used scratch up on our little fisher price record player..
Our favorites were like 'flying purple people eater', 'yellow polka dot bikini', and a bunch of beach boys tunes...
I look back now and ask my dad, how did you miss the beatles?
