choices of corns available to me

well, it's official we are getting 1.1 ball pythons and 0.0.1 creamsicle corn

can't wait to add them to my sig line... but that'll have to wait till they are IN my home! now, it's time to make some enclosures!!!

congrats :)

if for some reason the ball does not eat, try a gerbil as thats what they eat in the wild, I know many people might not agree with this, as the ball may become addicted, but a ball that does not eat, or a ball that Does eat thats addicted to gerbils, I think I'd go with the latter one.

my little girl just kept saying over and over again... "mama can i get a snake too?" so we'll have to start her addiction as well. obviously, i'll be taking care of it for her as she's only 6.

She just might suprise you in how little you have to take care of her snake. We have 3 little ones 5, 4, and 3. They each got there own Corn Snake last year. All three of them feed their own snakes and hold them while dad (me) cleans them or help to clean them while they are out eating. Then this year when we had our first clutch (as a family) they all reminded me once a week to check on the eggs. It has been a great learning experience for them.

jeff,

that's good to hear. as a homeschooling family... this interests me greatly! i just got off the phone with henry, the snake breeder... and he said with the humidity levels in my house (13 fish tanks and numerous fountains) it shouldn't be a problem at all for our balls. ;) he also suggested we get a small container like the ones he has the balls in and let them live inside it, inside their new enclosures as this will assist them to be less stressed and aid them to eat when they first move in. ;)

so... i'm happy!

congrats :)
after getting my beardie and some cresteds, I got a rough green snake

then I got a ball python and cornsnake at the same time to start with...and well, you can see what I've worked my collection up to now lol :)

all the snakes I have now (only had the green before that lived a bit over a year)...but gotten all I have now in the past year and a half lol

it really is such a great feeling to have all these critters living within your home... so you can enjoy them daily.
