cleaning tub question

How do you go about cleaning out the mouses bedding when they have babies in there with them...do you just take em out and put em back or should u not disturb them.

I just recently started keeping mice a few months ago. I give mine nesting boxes, such as cereal, kleenex, soup, etc boxes. They keep the babies in there. I remove the bedding on the other side and they will kick the old bedding out of the box and replace it with the new stuff. Every other day or so I'll put a new box in the tank. They kick the old box away, move the new box into their space and fill it with clean bedding and place the babies inside. It's really interesting to watch them. They're extremely intelligent little creatures.

We just take the nest out whole and place them back in after clean up. Its pretty simple and easy and no fuss from the rodents.

O okay...i think i understand what ur saying however the hide i currently have for them doesnt have a bottom so i cant lift them all out at once

ok take the hide out then lift the babies but try and pick them up with all the bedding as well rather than individual pinks then the mice wont smell your scent much.
