hey everyone..
I've been preparing for the arrival of a new corn tuesday (wooo! ) and can barely wait. I'm cleaning out a tank that previously had pine and cedar chips in it, but I know these have toxins in them not good for snakes. Does anyone have something to suggest for cleaning? Is water good enough, should I use soap? I don't want to use chemicals that could harm the snake or anything, and just wanted to know what everyone thought.
also, using an undertank heater, is it reliable enough to use one of those cheap $5 thermometers that stick to the side of the tank as a sticker, or are those meant for light-source heat? I had been told that it would be fine but thought I'd double check with you guys first.
Thanks a lot..
