I am sure as long as you rinse the viv very thoroughly and dry it good, 3% or 10% solution, all will be ok. I use 1/2 cup bleach per gallon of water to clean the viv. That is a 3% solution. I have had no problems at all.
Do you just empty out any substrate and then wipe down the viv with a wet paper towel dipped in the solution? Is it a good idea to rinse? Do you use the solution on the water bowl?
I think most people like to get rid of all their substrate and start fresh. I believe they completely water down the whole tank and make sure it is absolutely clean. It's all up to you though.
