Climbing Room

whatisntseen

What's This?
I'll be building a viv for a new corn soon and was wondering if I should give it climbing room. Do your corns use vines and sticks and stuff if its there? I know it isnt necessary, but this is definitely for display (like all my other animals) so I was wondering if I should give it the room.

All my corns have some type of branch in their viv and they all seem to like to climb them, so by all means, go for it! It is important to remember to have more floor space than height though if you have to choose one over the other.

I'd say definatly. My girl has a grape vine, and a plastic plant in her tank, and she's always on it. Corns are climbers! good luck with the new viv!

thankyou, I'll make sure to give more floor space than height. Now I just have to make the final print and figure out what my materials will be... Anyone know the best material to build cages with?

Yeah! My viv has climbing branches and 'silk' branches. I've tried making it multi-level and keeping things of the floor (like on stands) so as not use up floor space.

It's amazingly laughable when you see your snakes head peering through the branches/leaves - it gets me everytime :D
