Clinicide

*stretches* I'm out!
Been saying for months I would post this hehe... I use clinicide to clean my tanks and wanted your guys' opinions. Clinicide is a veterinary product used to clean exam rooms and boarding cages between animals. Its anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral. It has also recently been tested to kill crypto! (I'll try to get the info on that, its on a secure site and I can't link it or copy and paste ~,~). Clinicide info Theres its chemical info. its diluted 4ml to 500ml water... I spray it on, let it sit for around 1 min, then wipe it clean, spray the tank down with water twice and wipe it clean then let it sit 1/2 hour before putting the substrate and hides etc back in. Sound like its a good plan? From what I've been told it should be safe for snakes even without the rinsing, but the company won't give me a 100% guarantee.

wow sounds ussfull.. better then using water and vinnagar lol.. and then waiting forever for it to be ready :grin01:

Sounds like a good product.....I use Virosan, myself. Proexotics sells it. Very safe and effective.......

I use Arklens by Vetark Vetinary supplies, and Amprotect hand wash, I've said it many times but my mum works for the company so I just ring up and ask the boss if its okay. He's a Vet who specialises in reptiles. Its very useful having connections! :grin01:

Clinicide comes in a 2.5 gallon bucket for $70, which would last me... a lifetime LOL so I just bought 300ml for $13 hehe... should last me around 6 years! I use it to clean my mouse's tank too, cuts down on the mouse stink hehe. Snowflake = stinky.... not as bad as Hunter tho LOL.. ick.. my family calls him Mr.Stinky. The newb keeps musking something in his tank, probably himself, but man does it smell!
