I just wanted to check this out.Is there anything a corn can pick up from human colds and flu.I have bad flu at the moment and just wanted to check this out.

I find it highly unlikely. If you are at all worried, just wash your hands before picking up the snakes and you should be all right.

Is that Portsmouth Virginia you are in? If so I am in Richmond and have the same going on myself. Been dealing with it for 2 weeks now, of course that is because some dopey doc diagnosed it as strep throat at first and now I have a slight pneumonia in my chest because of it. It's weird that it is going around this time of year. I hope you feel better soon.

If it helps at all - I am on Levaquin & Codiclear DH and it seems to be working. If you find it sticking around too long watch it and don't let it turn into pneumonia ask the doc about what they put me on, maybe that will help.

P.S. They had me on Z-pack and Robitussin AC with Codeine the first go around and that didn't touch it, so you might want to avoid that, then again it could just be my system didn't like that mix.

Get plenty of rest, drink lots of fluids and play with your snakes as often as possible ... hee hee

not likely

This has come up 3 or 4 times on the forum and the general consensus has been no. Inflenza and the rhinovirus are not compatible with reptiles.
