"Color" Kastanie and Kastanie's in a Stump....

Just a few.......

1. Copper X Kastanie....

2. Snow Bloodred (Avalanche) Kastanie.....hard to visualize but color tone and shape of the markings is pretty neat (hard to capture).

3. Kastanie......

4. Motley Kastanie 50% p/het snow - this one started like the other Kastanies as neonates (Anery-like Type A) but the color expression is getting more prominent with a few sheds. You can appreciate the proximal 1/3 of the body showing the chestnut coloration.

5. Amel Kastanie (Mandarin)

Thanks for looking!

nice kastanie collection!! thanks for sharing :)

Thanks Jim! I don't know what it is with this mutation but it has so much to offer. I am slowly building a group and hope to have a bunch of "Color" Kastalicious mutations.... Lol

Here is another one.... Pics. taken by a good friend by the name of Don :spinner:. This one is somewhere in the garage....

Snow Kastanie....

Take care!

Oh wow! I am not typically a fan of white corns, but that kastanie snow is unreal gorgeous! I'm so happy to have a pair of the copper x kastanie babies from Jeff Sr and can't wait to work with them when they grow up a bit!

Great pics, I was wondering what the sex of the Avalanche Kastanie is? Mine seems to have a lot of yellow edges around the saddles. As you said some neat patterns on them.
Love the collection

Great looking photo's of a sweet looking collection! I'm totally stumped at picking a favorite.

Thanks for sharing Orlando.

John,
It is a male... I did have a hard time capturing the colors but the yellow seems to be more prominent.

Take care!

First off KUDOS to Don (SMR), Jim Godfrey, Daryl Camby, John "Zorro", Walter Smith and David Partington for their great efforts in providing me with some of these Kastalicious colubrids. Thanks a bunch!

Here is another interesting "Color" Kastanie almost with a bluish coloration.....

Kastanie Granite Motley.....

Happy Holidays!

That kastanie granite motley is incredible! My first "project" with mine will be with a pewter, I'm sure it's already been done or in the works but it's something that intrigues me.
