Coloring Question

We will try to get some pictures of the new snakes, but meanwhile, we would love some feedback. We just had our first babies (13 total) three weeks ago from a male Okeetee het sunkissed and a female Okeetee Hypomelanistic. None of the babies look like the parents. Half have really dark spots that read almost black, just a touch of really dark red in the middle. The sides have a background of grey and along the top, the background is bright orange, but because it's such a narrow stripe it reads as orange polka-dots from head to tail. The other half have much brighter red spots and less of a black outline, but the background reads more a white than orange. We researched all the different types of coloring and seem stumped about what these guys are. They should be ready to take to the pet store in the next two weeks and we would like to be able to say what type they are.

It may be impossible to say without pictures, so we'll try to get to a computer that can download some good digital photos.

Give them some time and they will color up. Hatchlings are normally very dull in comparison to adults. It takes a little while for the ground/saddle colors to go in. If they are a sunkissed/okeetee line, they will be BRIGHT. You should have normal okeetees as well as sunkissed okeetees in there too assuming that the female was homo for sunkissed hypomelanism. If it was hypo a, then you'll just have normal okeetees.
