You better get a bigger apartment with a seperate bedroom for just snakes, because man, you're running out of room with some serious haste.

Btw, what happened to 'no new snakes until the summer'?

Yeah, I've really got to put the brakes on this. I've still got 4 '06s on reserve that haven't hatched yet. My four in brumation come out in two weeks, and their rack space is now occupied. Gonna be some ghetto arrangements until I scratch up some rack money.

My new vow: beyond the reserves, no more snakes in '06. No hatchlings will be retained either (unless they're extraordinary). I've gotta BE STRONG.

Now guys, he's not lying, he means it. It's not going to HAPPEN, but ain't it just darling all the same? Besides, I seem to be the closest foster mommy to take care of the influx of new snakes! :nyah: :crazy02:

Wait to see who gets first crack at the cool stuff that will be hatching out. So there, I win.

Speaking of which, Dean, do you have any Silverqueen male that you'll be pairing up with your female?

Whew! If that had been a lavendar Cali I would have been forced to hate you forever
Daisy is a very pretty little thing :) Congrats on your lack of self control :grin01:
Just remember-the first lavendar Cali is MINE!!!;)

That's okay. You can hate me for my female lavender albino king. Nyah!

Sure is nice to be a part of a forum where I am not the only one that has no self control

Beautiful snake Dean, love the colors on that girl! Now that I have gotten my first king I dont think I will be able to resist buying more. I seriously think that corns should be considered "gateway" snakes, as one finds themselves drawn to all sorts of other snakes! :bang:

Dean...you might be in for a surprise regarding the snake's gender. My female Cali's tail is MUCH longer than my male's.

I hope Daisy is a female, but don't count on it until you have her probed ;)

Nope. She's going to be paired with the male coral snow we probed to prove his hypo this year. My collection is already ghost heavy, so I probably won't be buying her a silverqueen male. My future ghost plans mostly revolve around ghost bloods. For regular ghosts, I'd like to perpetuate my male's colorful look, if possible.

That's funny... and true. :)

I guess I should have chosen a more unisex name! Joe taught me probing technique when he dropped by here in early January, so I'll give her/him/it a few months of growth, then I'll give it a shot. I don't have real kingsnake breeding plans anyway, so it won't be terribly disappointing if it's a male. In a way, it will be better, because my MBK is a female. My youngest sister (Pumilio here) wants an MBK, so I'm going to buy her a male this spring/summer. I'll still have access to him for any future breeding I may wish to undertake. :)
