Cooling a viv

I purchased an '03 corn in March. Have found him to like his hide on the warm side (83ish) right after a meal. After his 1st poop, usually around 2 days, he goes to his hide on the cool side (70ish) and spends his days there until his next meal. When the weather got into the 80's here I turned off the heat and his viv stayed at around 78-82. He barely moved. He was nippy, nervous and had trouble keeping food down. Long story short, moved him to the basement and back to the 70-83 range and he's back to normal. Here's my problem. The middle of July I'm moving to a house with no basement and will probably have consistent temps of 78-82 again. Anybody ever experiment with cooling a viv as opposed to warming??:shrugs:
