I have a 5 month old cornsnake who's about, acording to her shed skin, 19-20 inches long. I'm just curious, does that sound right? I mean I know Corns grow at different rates but does anyone have an aproximate growth chart for the months? She looks fairly healthy and not too skinny but I couldn't be certain. I feed her a fuzzie every 7 days. I'm just curious if her growth rate seems normal. I'm sure that would be helpful for any corn owner. Also, when should I start her on bigger mice?

I'd say that is around right.

20 inches isn't too short.

As long as it's eating, pooping, shedding alright, then everything else should be fine~

Suzy is about 19" long and 4 months old - he grows at about 1/2" per week. He is on one fuzzy (and a pinky as I have some left) every Sunday.

I've read somewhere that baby corns roughly convert 1/3 of their food into size (if that makes sense)

So if Suzy is anything to go by, your snake is fine!

BTW A shed skin is longer than the snake as it stretches. I measured Suzy and her skin the other day and it was about 8% bigger.

She's about.. 18.5 inches according to the ruler when I hold it beside her. :D
