Corn snake care questions

Hi, please move this if I'm posting to wrong area. I've had a corn snake before about four years ago that escaped her cage. I'm planning to have a new one here soon. I want to find a young one to raise. I have my eye on a 20+ gallon tank. My questions are as followed since I have not cared for one recently. What substrate should I use for their sensitive respiratory tract? Before I fed live mice, but since then the store I purchased them at had closed. What is a good live feed source online and if not frozen? I would also like to know how to thaw frozen mice. One more thing is humidity and temp. I'm going to get a uth with a thermostat, but what temp should it be? And also how do I control humidity? Thank you in advance.

All the big name pet stores sell frozen rodents and you can get them online too.

It's very simple, I place a frozen mouse in a bowl of hot water (out of the tap, no need to use the stove) and let it sit until the water is cool to the touch. (Usually about 20 minutes). Then just give it to the snake.
