Hey all

My neibough has these 2 girbals and there is this wooden box sort of thing with 4 big holes in it and its about 5inches big in the girbals cage and my friend is moving her girbals int a new cage and she gave me this box thing for my snake. My snake would love it. But the only thing is that on of the girbals tails got cut and quite a bit of blood when al over the cage and on THE BOX.
So there is blood on the box and it smells a little of girbals.
I scrubed WELL and soked it in hot water for 1hr, then I put it in the oven for 30min and now its dry, no blood stains and it doesn't smell of girbals anymore.

Can I use it in my viv???

Alex

I would say yes! If you have disinfected it and it no longer smells like a gerbil, then I think it will be fine to put it in with your snake.

Well, most things are disinfected by chemical means, but putting something in the oven will heat disinfect it.
