So, I'll be getting myself another tattoo soon and I was thinking I would get a Corn Snake Tattoo. I'm not sure how I want it to look etc yet, so any of you who have corn tat's please post em so I can get some ideas.

Also if you are an artist and wanna do a design for me PM me, course I can't pay... but your art would be alive. :wavey:

It really depends on if you want a natural looking tat, or a stylized one. For a natural you can find a pic that would make a good tattoo. For stylized, maybe you can adapt a different snake tattoo and make it a corn. Make sure you go to a good tattoo artiist though!

I've got an excellent tattoo artist http://www.ronintattoo.com/ I suppose I should just take my idea into him and have him sketch something up, I know I want to use my Okeetee as the snake tho, I need to let her get a little bigger however, so I'll probably wait until November when she is a year old. Her colors will be better too.
I was thinking more anime/mysterious/artsy but slightly realistic. I know it want it to wrap around my upper lower arm above the elbow.

I'll have to remember to update on this thead once I do get a design put together and get it done. :cheers:
 
I know a chick here in Sweden who (er-hem) 'borrowed' Rich Zuchowski's Cornsnake image from the serpenco site and had that tatooed onto her.

She's quite 'deccorated' actually and even though that's the way she choses to express herself...sometimes ya gotta know when enough is enough!
 
Hey, cool! Im not the only one with that idea. I been tossing around the idea of having my lil guy tattoed on my left fore arm when he reaches maturity (i doubt that a hatchling would look nearly as burly).
 
Well not quite a cornsnake but heres my boa Tat. done by a local guy who is after me to get it touched up. Better make my appointment on the 10th I guess

my spidey-senses are telling me that desertanimal has a snake tat! :grin01: I won't mention me having any notions of getting a tat, Dean calls me a heathen/barbarian for having my nose pierced haha.
 
If your a heathan for having your nose pierces then I wonder what I would be, with multiple piercings, brandings, plans of full bodied tattoos, tongue splitting, subdermal implants and so on.

What I would like is not specificly a cornsnake, but a large snake in general wrapped around the leg or somewhere. Within its scales it will have various natural landscapes and animals, such as an ocean scene, mountians jungle, desert, and so on; symbolising the serpent that hold the world together or is wrapped around the world in various mythologies and beliefs. I also want one of my albino burm, and possibly a retic inspired design. Too many ideas and not enough skin.
