Corn snake with some odd pale patches

I've just gotten back from being away for a few weeks and have found that there are a few pale/discoloured scales and a patch on my adult male corn snake who is at least 5-6 years old (originally a rescue). I took a few pictures to show what it looks like, I tried search what it might be and I cant quite work out if its like a scale rot bacteria/fungal problem or a possible parasite. I took a few pictures to show what it looks like and was planning in giving a vet a ring in the morning but thought I would make a post in the meantime to see if anyone knows what it is in the meantime.

You can see the main patch and then there are 5 or 6 scales sown he body which have a similar discolouration. the main patch scales are also raised which you can see in the picture below

lastly one of the idividual scales

That pic was hard to get he was interested in the camera and I couldn't get the foucs on the scale properly. He still seems alert and active and was interested in the food which I had defrosted anyway (although he didn't take it)

Also I couldn't get a pic but the the scales on one side of his head look slightly raised on the edge.

I hope someone can help, and worried about him.

Thanks

Have you got a plastic water bowl? Odd question I know, but this discolouration can be a reaction to the plastic and completely go away when you replace with a ceramic bowl.

No it's a ceramic one. Nothing in his viv has changed for ages, thanks for the idea though.

The only thing that did change was when I was away and it was really hot my girlfriend turned the heat mat off as she was concerned about cooking him and all the spiders were very active ect. But wot I can gather the temps never dropped below the suitable range

I'd say, personally, a trip to a reptile vet for swabs may be a good idea. Hope he's well again soon.

Highly unlikely I would say, the viv was second hand when I got it 4 years ago any tape has no stickiness to it. I've not taken it out as it would expose any glue that is left.

No answer today from the vets will have to wait monday morning

Thanks for the replies so far
