Lucky you to have such cool creatures right in your back yard. Most of what we get around here is just squirrels. Really nice photography work too, btw.
I just recently acquired to pet anoles that were intended to be a trial food for my picky ball python. She refused them - showed no interest. Alas, the anoles have been spared from the jaws of death and are now my newest pets. I'm glad too. They're really cool little lizards.
Yeah, I have more of these than I can count, but I can't find any snakes. It's the weirdest thing. I'm about to start buying hides to put in my yard, just to go look under.
I was actually about 5 feet away when I took these. The ones around here aren't very flighty though. The minimum focusing distance on the lens I was using is pretty far away though.
