crooked jaw

I just fed my corn the largest mouse she ever had (5mo. old mouse, <25g). Below is her pic after the feeding. Is it normal for her jaw/lip to be "crooked"? I assume she just needs to readjust her jaw, right? I haven't seen her since (she's been in her hide and I don't want to disturb her).

Thanks.

My snakes do that as well after they eat. I am sure there is nothing to worry about. The next time you see her, her jaw will more than likely be back in place :)

yeah mine do too. After they have eaten they look like they are yawning but they are just stretching their mouth around a bit, sometimes one lip will be tucked in a little alike your snakes - it always makes me laugh as it looks really funny -

:)

Yes, that is normal. Snakes jawbones dislocate when they eat, and they will yawn or push their mouths against something to realign it. Not to worry, she has most likely already put it back into place.
