Curious about Peppered eggs.

Snake-getti on the Loose
I was just curious mostly if anyone else has had this happen with their eggs. I use Peat moss, temp is good enough to get 60 day incubation. Right before the eggs are about to hatch, they become speckled with brown. I even showed my friend telling her that meant my eggs would be hatching soon. And they do. Do everyone's eggs get the speckling on the eggs? And no its not peatmoss. :) The speckles are usually on the top of the eggs where the peatmoss isn't touching. Any comments would be appreciated.
