Day 62

well it's day 62 and I'm getting excited :D lol
Of 7 eggs there are 5 healthy left and I can see shaddows of the baby's in them :)

But here's the twist... yesterday I found another egg in her "nestbox", it's a bit odd shaped, but it's healthy and I candled it and it looks good, I didn't even know she was gravid, but after taking a closer look to her I can see she has a few more coming, but they are way in there (not close to the vent), wondering if she's having trouble getting the rest out :shrugs: how long should I give her befor I start to worry?

you can see the new egg there with the others, I've candled it and it looks good but it has a weird shape to it

well there came another egg today :) but I'm still waiting for the others to hatch  But I was just wondering, do they give you a hint befor they pip? do the eggs look any diffrent right befor?

Very few of mine ever dimple, though I see it every year in a few clutches a few days before they pip. I think your's are going to hatch any second! :)

The only difference that I know of is the dimpling that occurs about a week before they hatch.

I think that this indicates that the pre-hatchling has absorbed the yolk (for final nutrition) and is on its way out of the egg.

That odd shaped egg that she laid looks just like all the eggs my "Angel" laid 9 weeks ago and they started hatching yesterday. So far i have 3 healthy looking babies so i wouldn't worry about it, it looks perfectly healthy to me. Good luck!

Thanks :D

Well I was just candleing my eggs and theres movement! :D They all look a bit pink or orange inside but one lookes white inside, and I can see the color of the baby inside (It looks like a common :D ) It's moving all over the place and I'm hoping I'll see some pipping tomorrow :D

Oh and btw. just cought my female laying and got some pics!!!!
