It never gets old!
Aside from frequency, quantity, and quality all of which my snakes seem to have perfected, I have noticed that my only adult, Mandy, not only lifts her tail during the event; but as she moves away from the "dirty deed", she lifts her little girly tail straight up in the air and holds it there for quite a while. I mean straight up. If her tail were larger it would be a flag pole.
There is no way this girl is going to accidently trail her tail in her fresh, damp, large and high quality pile of feces and urates.
Is this common? My snabies lift their tails some but with Mandy it's like, "eeew, poo." The only way she would get it on her is if when it is in the viv I didn't clean to the point where she couldn't avoid it. She is super clean about keeping herself out of it.
She's also extremely regular. This is on my mind because the Monday morning 9-10 am time slot is prime time around here so to speak.
Snakes never fail to fascinate me and her little prissy ways in this area are very endearing. What do your corny ones do?
