so i'm going to go with a black milksnake. i found a breeder but he feeds the hatchlings live, are blk milksnakes easy to switch to f/t?
My male was feeding on live when I first got him. His first feeding took a while, but I think it might have been because he was still nervous about his surroundings (I did wait a week to feed him). What I ended up doing was leaving him in his feeding bin with the dead mouse on the perimeter of the bin (he was sticking to the perimeter, probably felt safer) and then left the bin in a dark room. 2 hours later I checked and the mouse was gone. Haven't had a problem since.
