Diamondback Terrapin making croaking noise?

My diamondback Terrapin has been making a croaking noise? It happened today (Saturday) and last Wednesday. He/she was sitting on the dock and making this croaking like noise. Do anybody know what this means?
 
You'd probably find better answers in the turtle forums at KS.com. Recently someone in the tortoise forum was asking about their leopard tortoise making some sort of quacking noise and it turned out many tortoises did that, especially as babies. Maybe it's the same for your turtle. My boxies definitely make a weird squeaky quacky sound when eating worms...
