Hello I have aspen for my snake in his house and he never would barry in it and what not and now all of the sudden he seems to be doing it, and i got him a new hide and he has been going in it and barrying himself in that and he would never do that before with the old hide is this normal behavior?

Boy....That's one long sentence.

But back to the question at hand.

Yeah it sounds normal. Maybe you just found a hide it prefers :shrugs: or it just decided to start burrowing. Who knows, but nothing bad about it new behavior
 
Our corn snake has currently been burried under his bedding for about 4 days now...crazy snakes!:rofl:
 
Perfectly normal, something else to consider is maybe the new hide isn't snug enough for him yet and that's why he's not using it.
