Well, a big thanks To CAV for helping me decide what to do with these tanks.
And to Jimmy for "sparking" the woodworking bug!
Here is the new home for my Gray Band and my Pyro.
The top is made entirely of !x2 poplar and there are 2 individual hinged access panels. I used bar latches for security.
 
very cool. eventually, I want to get something like that going for a display, but I'm just not good at carpentry. I especially like the hendrix pic above it :)

Thanks, these are really easy to build, no fancy joints or cuts. The key is making the base very tight fitting. The Hendrix pic is actually an album in a frame, and you cant see the other end of the wall, but it's the Best of the Doors. It's my dead rock star wall!
