...My Rootbeer Corn has been getting better with his jumpyness and everything, but now a new problem has arisin...Sometimes, whenever my brother or I handle the snake, he decides to go to the bathroom on whoever is holding him... Are we just really unluckey, or is this a problem?

not

A problem for the snake but for you! *L* :)

Its totally normal for many types of snakes, including cornsnakes, to defecate or musk when they feel threatened. It will stop but you must be persistant in your handling.

Handle constantly during the week, but not until a day or two after each feeding. Do not put the snake back in his cage after he defecates on you. This will enforce that this "works" for him and he can get away from that giant human beast everytime by crapping on him. :)

Keep up the handling and he *will* eventually stop. As they grow they become more and more trustworthy for that sort of thing.

well

from previous experience i know that when a snake "poops" on you
and you let it go back in it house.

the snake will start thinking ,,,

poop=going back home so it probably got used to it or something.

and you might wanna give your snake a bath.

when a snake gets a bath it usually poops. so this way it wont poop on you maybe

i've never been as unlucky as to have a snake poop on me, but whenever i change the water, all he does is drink some then poop in it, it's really anoying.

Bath works here too ~~~~~~~~:~

The bath works really well for us. A slightly warm bath brings out the best in them. ~~~~~~~:~ Sam
