Disneyland waits for eggs....

So, I get up this morning and thought for sure my second clutch would be waiting for me because the mama, Matcha, was in and out of her lay box yesterday. But no, not yet.

We're heading out to Disneyland today for a two-day park hopper, so I go in the snake room one more time to do some light misting of lay boxes since we'll be gone. I open Matcha's tub and, dost my eyes deceive me? Nope. Two eggs are out! :eek1:

Leave it to one of my kidz to start laying just as I'm on my way out of the house. So, we're going to wait a few hours and see if she finishes so that I can put them in their egg box before we go. I'll feel better about them being in there than in the tub. I don't think setting up an egg box will be our house-sitter's forte either :p

Update in a bit!

I know how that is. I had a friend coming to check our girls when we were on spring break last month. But they decided to wait for us to get home ;) Be sure to post pics when you get a chance.

Update:
She only had laid 3 more eggs over 1 hr and 45 minutes. So I misted her whole tub and off we went to Disneyland.

We're back and she had 16 perfect eggs! They have some slight dimpling, but look good and are now cozy in their egg box.

One other female laid and 2 females are laying as I type too!

Thanks for looking.

What an awesome home coming?!? Congrats on being surrounded by eggs.

Thanks! I loved it.

I am still astonished by how much more like clockwork the corns are than the ball pythons. I still open the balls' tubs and plead and pray with them  . Pleeeaaassse breed. Pleeeaaassse lay some eggs. The corns came out of brumation and ate, shed, bred, shed and laid! It's like magic :bird:
