Do any Pythons eat Piranha?

There are a few 2nd graders I know trying to figure out if there are any Pythons that eat any type of fish...specifically Piranhas?

We have not been able to find much...except a lot of hits for Monty Python:shrugs:

Thanks for any links or information you might know:)

Ok, Piranhas are native to South America as well as Boas, in the new world.
But Pythons are old world snakes.
I know the Yellow Anaconda will eat fish, these guys are found in the same waters as each other so I am sure the odds are that a few are eaten every year but small Yellow Anacondas.
Yellows reach a max length of 12-13 feet unlike their huge cousins the greens.

Thank you!!!
I was just searching their origins and trying to piece it together.
This all stemmed from bringing the corns to the classroom...everytime one of the kids sees me now they ask all their snake questions.
We discovered the Pythons were good swimmers from one of their other questions and that they eat frogs.
Being contrictors it did not seem that fish would likely be on the menu...also I was not sure of the locality of all the different Pythons.

You never know since new everything is constantly being uncovered in the herp world.

Thank you so much again...they will be excited to hear I got an answer from a local expert:dancer:
