do I need a light and an UTH to heat my tank?

The room I plan to keep the snake in is lighted, so do I need a UTH and a llight to heat the tank?

Probably not. What you need to consider is temperature. Measure how hot and how cold the room gets at the extremes of the hottest part of the day, and the coldest part of the night. A light needs to be switched off at night to give a day/night cycle. If your room gets too cold then you will need an UTH to compensate for the room's lack of heat. If you go with the UTH option then you wouldn't need a light since the room is lit.

Defidently. Unless you have your tank hidden, and have to create a day/ night cycle (as do I) then i would just use the UTH. I use one, and it works great.
