Do I need extra heating?

My room stays at a normal 80-85 during the day and doesn't drop below 72 during the night. Since corns live in areas like mine, they should do fine.

Is it safe for me to not include any other heating elements intoy housing equation? I have been doing this for a couple weeks. So far the snake is healthy, eating, shedding.

That should be fine. You might consider an undertank heater (either on the side or bottom) on a timer for nights during the winter, just to keep things from getting too cool. If it were mine, I wouldn't want things to get much below 70 for very long. We have had ours set to come on for a few hours in the wee hours, but now that we're raising brood stock we're going to get tighter control over temps.
