Every single one of my snakes HATES it whenever I give them a bath.

I always make sure the temp is just right and it's not too deep, but they are never happy.

Same here. Mine hates it. Haven't tried it with the new one. She's nervous enough as it is. I don't think she'd appreciate me trying to drown her :)

You don't have to give baths. Some people have used bathing if their snake seems constipated, or if they've had a poor shed. I just tried it to see if my snake liked it, because a friend of mine has a corn that loves it. Mine hated it, so no more baths for her.

Mine doesn't mine if she does but she could really care less. I don't her bathe unless I have to to avoid her getting mad at me.

bath time

My snakes love bath time they have a bowl in their tank big enough for just one and they both try and fit in its quite amusing seems though they are 4 - 5 ft.

I just went to a Herp show Yesterday and a knowledgeable Herper recommended I "soak" my little guy to help with a problem shed. I think I'll do that now.

Bath time

It is difficult to tell but I think my mate enjoys a swim and it must be good exercise, but I don't imagine she is keen on the huge white wide open space of the bathtub though, but as everyone says it is a guaranteed way of keeping you tank clean :)

My little baby corn loves it. I get a shallow dish of room temp water and she swims around and then soaks for a bit. I have pics of her in her water dish in her cage. I need to post them.

bathing?????????

so do you have to bath them or what? is it important, im geting a corn snake in 3 days so im doing all the research now...... so bathing? important? and how often will i feed it. its about 10 inches????

Bathing is not necessary, although people use baths to help a snake that may be constipated, or had a difficult shed. Evidently, some snakes like it.

my snake "tollorated" taking a bath but he never really liked it...i just put him in there to help him poo and he never had a difficult shed. I didnt try it with my new snow but im going to on wednesday if he didnt poo yet.
