Doug and his Dinner

Bobo's Mama

proud corn mommy!
Thought I'd post a few of Doug eating his dinner. He's eating a f/t rat pup. Just about the largest thing he can eat. It doesn't look f/t though, because I always dry them off for him. He hates soggy rats! They have to be "alive", meaning, warm and dry. And then a neat shot or two of him drinking. I had just changed his water, so of course he had to get a drink of the fresh cold water. The drinking pics are a little dark, but clear, at least for my cheap camera and crappy lighting.

Photoshop is our friend.

Since I like lavs and drinking shots (photos of snakes drinking, I'm getting too old to handle drinking shots!), I thought I'd steal 'em and run 'em through "curves".

regards,
jazz

Man, Becky, I think Doug is my favorite snake of yours. I love his color! Oh, and that third shot reminds me of a dragon. Cool pictures!

He looks better than ever, Becky. These photos have just bumped Doug up a few levels in my mental rankings of the anery-lavs I've seen. ;)

No! I just use a towel to dry them off... If I don't dry them off, he ignores them, and it takes him forever to eat. Personally, I don't blame him. Nothing worse than soggy food.

Funny.
One of mine doesn't either way and the other prefers when it is still soggy.... hmm, are they weird?
Then again, I like to dip my croissant in my coffee :crazy02:
