Driving through Canada with corn snakes?

Jessica29

Crazy Alaskan
I've been debating about flying back to Alaska or driving there through Canada. I think it'd be easier and cheaper to drive but I'm not sure how to do so with my corn snakes. I know dogs and cats just need proof of rabies vaccine and a cleared health certificate or something from a vet. Anyone know what I would need to do this? Thanks.

Good question. I'm in BC, I know our breeder has imported/exported some corns and said it wasn't worth it. Tons of paperwork and expensive. But transporting your PET snake with you shouldn't be as terrible. I would give customs a call, I'm sure they will be the most helpful with what you need, and how the process works. Cheers!
