Eastern Rat Snake guest - pix!

She looks great! The eggs look wet. Are they still? They look TOO wet to me. Is the moss wrung out as much as you can get it?

On Photobucket, up in the top left above each pic, there.s a bunch of icons- like Facebook, Pinterest, etc. There is one that is a gray "link." If you click that, you get a bunch of options for sharing the photo. If you choose Image Code, and copy that (for me, it copied automatically by clicking Image Code) and then past it in a reply, it puts the actual photo here.

I'll try that, I've lost my skills for posting stuff ;)
As for the eggs, that picture was right when we settled them in from the quarantine tank where mama snake was. Since then I've removed and wrung-out the moss and repositioned it. Seems more 'damp' than wet like the original. I'll keep an eye on them now.

update

Update now that many weeks have passed. So far all the eggs still look viable. I've kept them in damp moss in a container within a larger closed tub at room temperature in a closet in the warmest room of the house. Seems to work.
I'd expect to watch for hatching maybe next week. I've got some basic things to serve as housing should any hatchlings appear - and I really hope some do.
On the other hand, what do I do if they all hatch???
