Ebony & Ivory

Lynnea

That's "lin-NAY-ah"
Just snapped some shots of two anerys I purchased earlier this year as little weenie worms--I am so surprised at how the male is turning out to have pastel. At any rate, it's always fun to watch how they change!

Beautiful snakes and cool names.
Like Devil May Cry? ;)

those are beautiful snakes lynnea!!

lol Saiyajin, although your reference to DMC is justifiable, I'm betting Lynnea is going with the Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder song... I may be wrong, tho.

You would win this bet, Matt! It must be my age...

Thanks for the kinds words, too, everyone!

lol, its not your age, I just didnt figure you for a gamer, lol. plus, its a great song.

You got that right, I'm not a gamer--but I'll bet my bottom dollar my 20-year old gaming-crazy son would know!

Update

Ebony is just getting lighter, peachier and his yellows are really coming in; I love how he's turning out!

Sadly, Ivory escaped this spring and was never to be seen again...

Uhhhh...WOW! Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my keyboard. That snake is beautiful!

Sorry to hear about your escapee. Maybe it'll still show up one day when you least expect it.

THAT is a pretty snakey, Lynnea! Really turning out great!

As for the escapee... I'm hoping she turns up when you very LEAST expect it (like SOON too!).

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear you've lost Ivory! But Ebony is GORGEOUS!!! Looking at that new pic I'd never believe he's an Anery.

Hehe...Ebony and Ivory... LOL!
Reminds me of the maternity hospital documentaries I've seen on TV. Women giving birth that is. In that documentary serie every black woman who's called Ebony and who's had a white husband and somewhat whiter baby on it's way has named the baby Ivory. :D

Yah, I know what you mean! Here's a pic of him when he first arrived (sorry it's not a better photo):

Wow, that is one crazy looking anery! Maybe he's got something else floating around? Beautiful . . . maybe he will pass those colors on to his offspring!

Sorry about Ivory going AWOL. Such a shame.
