Wow, Torsten!! I LIVE in the desert and didn't have any appreciation for these cacti until seeing your pics. Just gorgeous!!
 
Any ideas on where to get some of these cultivars? My wife is moving to Boston soon without me, leaving the desert, which she will miss. Echinopsis Je T'aime would be a nice housewarming gift for her new apartment (if she has a window). But a google search yields next to nothing. What's the species name on that particular cultivar? It appears there are many species of this genus with the same basic shape and showy blooms.
